JOB DESCRIPTION JOB IDENTIFICATION Title: PET (Physical Educator-SPORTS) No. of Positions: 01 Employment Type : Full-Time Domain: Education Work Location: Kokapet & Manikonda, (Hyderabad). Work Time: IST (8.30 AM to 4.00 PM) Reports To: Centre Head Pay: 25,000 to 30,000 per month BASIC FUNCTION (JOB SUMMARY) We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating engaging and effective physical education programs for students of all ages. The PE Teacher will encourage students to develop physical, mental, and social skills through a variety of physical activities, ensuring that students are engaged in healthy, active, and safe environments. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1.Curriculum Development: Design and implement comprehensive PE programs that align with school curriculum and promote physical health, fitness, and motor skill development for students at various levels. 2. Instruction: Deliver engaging lessons, both indoor and outdoor, that incorporate various physical activities including team sports, individual sports, fitness training, and wellness education. 3• Assessment & Progress Tracking: Monitor and assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain records of students' physical abilities and improvements. 4• Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and disciplined learning environment, ensuring that students understand and follow safety protocols during physical activities. 5• Promotion of Physical Fitness: Encourage healthy lifestyle habits by promoting fitness, well-being, and the benefits of regular physical activity. 6• Extracurricular Activities: Organize and supervise sports teams, after-school clubs, and athletic events or competitions, fostering teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship. 7• Collaboration: Work closely with other educators, administrators, and parents to support student development and ensure a holistic approach to their education. 8• Professional Development: Stay current with the latest trends, techniques, and best practices in physical education and athletics. Requirements / Qualifications : 1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Physical Education (B. PED), Sports Science, or a related field. 2• Experience: Previous experience in teaching physical education, coaching, or working with children in a school or educational setting preferred. 3• Skills & Competencies: 4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 5. Knowledge of sports, fitness principles, and healthy living practices. 6. Passion for promoting an active and healthy lifestyle among students. 7.Classroom management skills and the ability to handle conflicts effectively. 8• Physical Requirements: 9. Ability to lead and participate in physical activities, including demonstrations of exercises and sports. 10. Capacity to move or assist students during physical exercises or sports activities.
