Key Responsibilities

1. Curriculum & Lesson Planning

• Develop and deliver age-appropriate PE curriculum as per school and board guidelines.
  
• Incorporate a variety of indoor and outdoor sports, games, and fitness activities.
  
• Include lessons on health, nutrition, and injury prevention.
  

2. Sports Training & Coaching

• Provide coaching in multiple sports such as athletics, football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, cricket, and indigenous games.
  
• Prepare students for

  school sports day, inter-school competitions, district and state-level events, and Khel Mahakumbh

  .
• Conduct practice sessions before/after school hours as required.
  

3. Student Assessment & Progress Tracking

• Evaluate students physical abilities, sports skills, and overall fitness.
  
• Maintain detailed records of performance, participation, and achievements.
  
• Provide feedback to students and parents for improvement.
  

4. Safety & Discipline

• Ensure safe use of sports equipment and facilities.
  
• Supervise students during sports activities to prevent injuries.
  
• Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and fair play at all times.
  

5. Event & Competition Coordination

• Organize annual sports day, inter-house competitions, and fitness awareness programs.
  
• Coordinate participation in

  Khel Mahakumbh

  , CBSE/State board competitions, and other external tournaments.
• Liaise with sports authorities and event organizers for student participation.
  

6. Professional Development

• Stay updated on latest sports trends, training methods, and fitness programs.
  
• Attend workshops, seminars, and training for skill enhancement.
  

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed / M.P.Ed).
  
• Additional certification in sports coaching (preferred).
  

Experience:

• Minimum 5–8 years of teaching/coaching experience in a school or sports academy.
  

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in multiple sports disciplines.
  
• Strong organizational and event management skills.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR (preferred).
