Located in Nova Scotia, Canada, we strive to make every recovery measurable and motivating. Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The CTO will oversee the company’s technical vision and lead all aspects of technological development. Day-to-day tasks include managing the software development lifecycle, product development, aligning IT strategy with business goals, and ensuring architecture frameworks support our AI-driven platform. The CTO will also collaborate with other executives to implement technology strategies and support the overall growth of the company. Qualifications Proficiency in Software Development and Architecture Strong knowledge of IT Strategy and Project Management Experience in Product Development and leading technical teams Excellent leadership and communication skills Programming expertise: Python (AI/ML), TypeScript/JavaScript (React/React Native), C++ (computer vision, performance). AI/ML: PyTorch/TensorFlow, MediaPipe/OpenPose (pose estimation), motion signal processing. Backend/Cloud : AWS/GCP/Azure, PostgreSQL, Firebase, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD. Healthtech experience: Familiar with clinical trials, HIPAA/GDPR compliance, and ideally FDA/CE regulatory pathways. Proven track record of taking MVPs to production under tight timelines. Leadership ability to build and scale technical teams. Ability to work independently and remotely Experience with AI and gamification technologies is an advantage Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
