Key Roles & Responsibilities : Restaurant General Manager (Lounge Resto Bar) 1. Operational Management Oversee daily operations of the lounge and restaurant, ensuring smooth service across all departments (FOH and BOH). Maintain ambiance, cleanliness, lighting, and music levels appropriate for a lounge setting. Coordinate shift scheduling and ensure appropriate staffing levels at all times. Monitor and manage inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining cost-effective stock levels. 2. Guest Experience & Service Quality Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering excellent service standards. Handle guest complaints promptly and professionally. Interact with VIP guests and regular patrons to build loyalty and encourage repeat business. Ensure the bar/lounge atmosphere aligns with the brand identity (music, decor, vibe). 3. Staff Management & Training Recruit, train, and supervise front-of-house (servers, bartenders, hosts) and back-of-house staff (kitchen). Conduct regular performance evaluations and coaching. Implement training programs for service, mixology, and food knowledge. Foster a positive work environment to retain high-performing team members. 4. Financial Management Monitor daily revenue, labor costs, food and beverage costs, and operational expenses. Implement strategies to increase revenue (promotions, upselling, special events). Authorize payroll, invoices, and other financial transactions. 5. Marketing & Promotions Work with the marketing team to plan and execute promotions, theme nights, and events. Develop strategies to boost footfalls especially during low traffic hours. Ensure strong social media and online presence (reviews, listings, reservations). Build partnerships with local influencers, artists, or DJs to enhance visibility. 6. Compliance & Safety Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, liquor laws, and food safety regulations. Maintain all licenses and permits up to date. Train staff on responsible alcohol service and emergency procedures. 7. Vendor & Supplier Management Negotiate contracts with suppliers for food, beverages, and other materials. Ensure timely delivery and quality of goods received. Manage relationships with entertainment, DJs, security, and other third-party vendors. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field. Minimum 10 years experience in Restaurant/bar management, preferably in a lounge or nightlife setting. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of POS systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Office. Mixology or beverage management knowledge is a must .
