Role Overview Description PHP Web Application Developer Justo Global is seeking a PHP Web Application Developer who possesses a solid foundation in web development and is proficient in WordPress and PHP. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to create robust web applications, maintaining existing applications, and implementing new features as necessary. The ideal candidate will have experience in PHP programming as it relates to building and maintaining WordPress sites, with an ability to think critically and solve complex technical challenges. Responsibilities Web Application Development Develop and maintain dynamic web applications using PHP and WordPress. Collaborate with designers to create responsive and user-friendly web interfaces. Write clean, scalable, and efficient code while following coding standards. WordPress Management Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet the project's requirements. Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to WordPress sites and applications. Collaboration Work closely with project managers and other developers to assess project requirements. Participate in code reviews to maintain quality standards and provide constructive feedback. Engage in agile development practices, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives. Documentation Document code changes, feature implementations, and maintain technical documentation for future reference. Create user documentation as necessary to facilitate the end-user experience. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3+ years of proven experience as a PHP Web Application Developer, specifically with WordPress. Strong proficiency in PHP and MySQL. Experience in developing custom WordPress themes and plugins. Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is desirable. Familiarity with Laravel framework is a plus. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles. Solid debugging and testing skills. Experience using version control systems, preferably Git. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Proactive in learning new technologies and improving skill sets within the web development landscape.
