PHP / Laravel developer

As a PHP / Laravel developer at this company, you will be responsible for the following: - Develop, record, and maintain web-based PHP applications. - Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team. - Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript are valid and consistent across applications. - Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools. - Utilize backend data services and contribute to increasing existing data services API. - Lead the entire web application development life cycle from concept stage to delivery and post-launch support. - Communicate effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules, technical and process issues. - Document the development process, architecture, and standard components. - Coordinate with co-developers and keep the project manager well informed of the status of development efforts, serving as a liaison between development staff and the project manager. - Stay updated on new trends and best practices in web development. Qualifications required for this role: - Previous working experience as a PHP / Laravel developer for 1-3 years. - BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a similar relevant field. - In-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and Laravel 5 PHP Framework. - Hands-on experience with SQL schema design, SOLID principles, REST API design. - Software testing experience with PHPUnit and PHPSpec. - Proficiency in MySQL profiling and query optimization. - Creative and efficient problem solver. Additionally, the following skills would be beneficial: - Working knowledge of any two of these: WordPress, CodeIgniter, Symfony, or any other PHP framework. - Working knowledge of NodeJs and Angular.
