PHP Developer & Team Lead

You will play a crucial role in leading the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality PHP-based web applications. Your main responsibilities will revolve around writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code in accordance with coding standards and best practices. It is essential that you have experience working with PHP frameworks such as Laravel (primary), Symfony, or CodeIgniter. Collaboration with front-end developers and cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate user-facing components with back-end logic will be a key aspect of your role. Additionally, you will be tasked with defining project goals, crafting detailed development plans, delegating tasks, and overseeing their execution. Effective communication with internal stakeholders and clients to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations will be vital. You will also be responsible for conducting code reviews and guiding junior developers to uphold quality and consistency in the development process. To excel in this position, you must demonstrate a strong expertise in PHP (particularly Laravel) and possess a solid grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles. A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Laravel-based development is a prerequisite. While a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, it is imperative that you have proficient knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and AJAX. Experience working with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL is essential, along with familiarity with version control systems, especially Git. Furthermore, you should have a comprehensive understanding of web application security best practices and performance optimization techniques. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills are indispensable for this role. Previous experience in leading teams and managing projects, ideally in an Agile environment, will be highly advantageous.
