PHP Developer & Team Lead

You will lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality PHP-based web applications. Your main responsibilities will include writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices. You should have experience working with PHP frameworks such as Laravel (primary), Symfony, or CodeIgniter. Collaboration with front-end developers and cross-functional teams to integrate user-facing components with back-end logic is crucial. As a part of your role, you will define project goals, create detailed development plans, assign tasks, and monitor execution. Effective communication with internal stakeholders and clients to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations is essential. Conducting code reviews and mentoring junior developers to maintain quality and consistency will also be a part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should possess strong expertise in PHP (Laravel) and have a good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles. A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Laravel-based development is required. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Additionally, you should have solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and AJAX, along with experience working with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL. Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git, is expected. Moreover, you must have an understanding of web application security best practices and performance optimization. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills are necessary for this role. Prior experience in leading teams and managing projects, preferably in an Agile environment, is highly desirable. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule.
