We are seeking a talented Production Retoucher with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic creative team. The ideal candidate should possess a keen eye for detail and expertise in advanced retouching techniques. Proficiency in Photoshop is a must, including mastery of pen tools, layers, blend modes, filters, and actions. A deep understanding of production retouching processes is also essential for this role. Troubleshooting and resolving issues within established workflows and actions will be part of your responsibilities. Your key responsibilities will include performing high-quality retouching and image enhancement for various projects, ensuring meticulous attention to detail. You will utilize Photoshop tools like the pen tool, layers, and advanced retouching techniques to deliver polished results. It is important to recognize the priority of high-visibility projects and routine tasks, shifting accordingly to meet tight deadlines. Complex retouching tasks for prominent projects while maintaining consistency with brand guidelines will be expected. You will efficiently use and modify Photoshop actions, batch actions, scripts, and droplets to manage large volumes of images. Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues within workflows and automated processes will ensure smooth production. Collaboration with the creative team to understand project requirements and deliver exceptional retouched images is crucial. Maintaining an organized workflow to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines will be essential for timely delivery. Qualifications for this role include 3-5 years of professional experience in retouching and/or image editing. Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, advanced skills with pen tools, layers, and production retouching techniques are required. Demonstrated experience in creating and optimizing workflows through Photoshop actions, batch actions, scripts, and droplets is necessary. An eye for detail, strong visual aesthetics, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues within workflows and automated processes are key. Experience with complex retouching tasks for high-profile projects, as well as prior exposure to Digital Asset Management workflows, Adobe Bridge, Lightroom, and project management software are advantageous. The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects, and meeting deadlines is crucial. A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, innovate, and solve complex problems are valued traits for this role. Basic knowledge of video editing is preferred, but not required. Skills required include expertise in Photoshop, Bridge, and Lightroom with a deep understanding of retouching techniques. Proficiency in Photoshop actions, batch processing, and knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premier and/or Adobe After Effects are desirable. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication and collaboration abilities are essential. A portfolio showcasing before-and-after examples of your work is mandatory for this role.
