Phlebotomist

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified and skilled Phlebotomist with a DMLT certification to join our diagnostic team. The candidate will be responsible for collecting blood samples and other clinical specimens from patients while ensuring accurate labeling, patient identification, and a high standard of hygiene and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect blood samples from patients (both adults and children) using proper phlebotomy techniques.
• Ensure proper identification and labeling of samples.
• Maintain sample integrity by following standard operating procedures.
• Prepare specimens for transport to central laboratories, if applicable.
• Maintain cleanliness and sterility in the sample collection area.
• Provide comfort and reassurance to patients during sample collection.
• Record patient details accurately and ensure documentation is maintained.
• Assist the laboratory technician in processing and preparing reports.
• Monitor stock levels of consumables (needles, tubes, gloves, etc.).
• Follow all biosafety, infection control, and clinical hygiene guidelines.

Qualification & Experience:

• Educational Qualification: Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) from a recognized institute.
• Experience: 2–5 years of relevant experience in sample collection in a clinic, hospital, or diagnostic center.
• Freshers with DMLT are also encouraged to apply.

Skills & Competencies:

• Sound knowledge of phlebotomy techniques.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in labeling and documentation.
• Patient-friendly attitude.
• Familiarity with infection control protocols.
• Basic computer knowledge to enter patient/test details.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
