o Verify patient identity using appropriate documentation.o Explain the blood collection procedure to patients to alleviate anxiety.o Prepare and sanitize the collection area and necessary equipment.Blood Collection:o Perform venipuncture or capillary puncture to collect blood samples.o Ensure optimal quality and quantity of samples for testing.Sample Handling and Documentation:o Label samples accurately and ensure proper storage or transportation to laboratories.o Maintain detailed records of patient information, sample details, and procedures performed.
