Position Overview

PHE Drafting Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare detailed electrical and plumbing design drawings using AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to ensure designs meet project specifications and standards.
• Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather necessary data for design development.
• Review and analyze project requirements, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and reports related to MEP systems.
• Provide support during the construction phase, including responding to requests for information (RFIs) and reviewing shop drawings.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance design efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in electrical design and plumbing systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and their integration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and clients.
• Willingness to work on-site and adhere to project schedules.
