Research Scholar – PhD Admission in Materials Modelling

Inquiries are invited for admission to a 4-year PhD programme in the field of materials modelling.

The research will focus on the computational exploration of materials — including metals, alloys, or soft materials — using microscopic simulation techniques such as molecular dynamics, as well as data-driven approaches like machine learning and deep learning.

Eligibility Criteria

• M.Tech or B.Tech in Metallurgy, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Admission is through an interview process.
• Candidates without a GATE/NET qualification must appear for an entrance test.

Required Skills

• Computational skills, including programming experience (e.g., Python, C/C++, etc.)
• Interests in applying advanced computational and statistical methods to materials science and engineering problems.
