We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our pharmacy. The ideal candidate will assist the pharmacist in dispensing medications, managing inventory, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring the smooth running of the pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medications.
Provide information to customers under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
Accurately label, package, and store medications.
Maintain and update patient records and prescription files.
Manage inventory: receive, stock, and organize pharmaceutical supplies.
Check stock levels and expiry dates, and notify the pharmacist of shortages or discrepancies.
Handle customer transactions using the POS system and process payments.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area.
Comply with all health and safety regulations and pharmacy policies.
Support in administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and answering phone calls.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a pharmacy assistant or in a retail/customer service role is preferred.
Basic knowledge of pharmacy operations and medical terminology is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using computers and pharmacy software (if applicable).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
