Job Description

Dispensing & Supply of Medicines:
Accurately dispense prescription medicines to inpatients and outpatients
Verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions
Inventory & Stock Management:
Maintain adequate stock levels of medicines and medical supplies
Conduct regular inventory checks and manage expiry dates
Coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement
Patient Care & Counseling:
Provide correct dosage instructions and counsel patients on medication use
Advise on potential side effects and drug interactions
Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain patient medication records and pharmacy documentation
Ensure compliance with hospital and statutory regulations
Participate in audits and quality improvement activities
Collaboration & Support:
Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
Participate in ward rounds when required to provide pharmaceutical input
Safety & Quality Control:
Ensure storage of medicines under proper conditions
Monitor adverse drug reactions and report accordingly
Strong knowledge of pharmacology and drug formulations

Qualifications & Skills:

D.Pharm / B.Pharm / M.Pharm (Registered with State Pharmacy Council)

Experience

03 years (Hospital or Clinical Pharmacy preferred)
