PHARMACIST-FULL TIME

Core Duties of a Pharmacist:1. Dispensing Medications

• Verify and fill prescriptions accurately.
• Ensure correct dosage, route, and frequency.
• Check for potential drug interactions or allergies.

2. Patient Counseling

• Provide information on how to take medications properly.
• Explain possible side effects and what to do if they occur.
• Offer guidance on lifestyle, diet, and non-prescription drugs.

3. Medication Management

• Monitor patients’ progress and adherence to treatment.
• Review medication regimens, especially for chronic diseases.
• Adjust dosages under collaborative practice agreements (in some settings).

4. Health Promotion and Disease Prevention

• Provide vaccinations and health screenings.
• Offer smoking cessation, weight loss, or diabetes management services.

5. Compounding Medications

• Prepare customized medications when commercially available forms don’t meet patient needs.

6. Inventory Management

• Maintain stock of medications and supplies.
• Check for expired medications and dispose of them properly.
• Order and store drugs according to legal and safety standards.

7. Compliance and Documentation

• Maintain accurate records for prescriptions, patient interactions, and inventory.
• Ensure adherence to laws and regulations (e.g., controlled substances).

8. Collaboration with Healthcare Providers

• Communicate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Participate in clinical rounds (especially in hospitals or long-term care settings).

9. Clinical Roles (in hospitals or specialized settings)

• Participate in therapeutic decision-making.
• Monitor drug therapies and lab results.
• Assist in developing treatment guidelines.

10. Education and Training

• Educate pharmacy technicians or interns.
• Keep up to date with new medications and healthcare practices through continuing education.

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
