About the Role

Retail Pharmacist

Key Responsibilities

Dispense prescription and OTC medicines accurately as per the doctor’s prescription.
Provide appropriate counselling to customers regarding dosage, interactions, and safe usage of medicines.
Maintain proper storage, handling, and record-keeping of drugs as per regulatory standards.
Verify prescriptions, check for errors, and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations.
Manage pharmacy inventory, stock levels, and participate in stock audits.
Ensure 100% compliance with company SOPs and quality protocols.
Coordinate with doctors, customers, and internal teams for smooth operations.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards at the pharmacy.
Educate customers on preventive healthcare, product information, and wellness solutions.

Required Qualifications

B.Pharm or D.Pharm
from a recognized institution.
Mandatory:
Valid registration with
Karnataka State Pharmacy Council (KSPC)
.
Good knowledge of medicines, drug interactions, and pharmacy laws.
Basic computer proficiency and ability to use pharmacy management software.
Strong communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience in retail pharmacy or hospital pharmacy setup.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
