PGT Mathematics Faculty Key Responsibilities : Teaching and Curriculum Delivery : Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons for senior secondary classes (Grades 11 and 12) as per the CBSE curriculum. Simplify complex mathematical concepts using innovative teaching methods. Prepare students for CBSE board examinations and competitive exams like JEE, NDA, etc. Student Development : Foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities in students. Provide individual attention to students to address their academic challenges. Encourage participation in Mathematics Olympiads, quizzes, and other competitions. Assessment and Evaluation : Design and administer tests, assignments, and projects to evaluate student progress. Provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate academic records. Classroom Management : Create a positive and disciplined learning environment. Promote active participation and collaboration among students. Professional Development : Stay updated with the latest developments in Mathematics education and CBSE guidelines. Participate in workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance teaching skills. Extracurricular Activities : Organize and mentor students in math-related events and activities. Guide students in applying mathematical concepts to real-world problems. Collaboration : Work closely with other faculty members to integrate interdisciplinary approaches. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and performance. Qualifications : Educational : Masters degree in Mathematics or a related field. B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification is mandatory. Experience : Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level, preferably in a CBSE-affiliated school. Skills : Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts and CBSE examination standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using technology for teaching (e.g., smart boards, online tools). Personal Traits : Passionate about teaching and mentoring students. Adaptable to the schools environment and culture.
