Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum tailored to the needs of students. Stay updated with current trends in fashion and integrate them into teaching methodologies. Student Mentorship : Guide students in developing their creative skills and building strong portfolios. Provide individual mentorship to students for academic and career growth. Encourage participation in fashion competitions, exhibitions, and events. Practical Workshops : Organize hands-on workshops on pattern making, draping, sewing techniques, and fashion illustration. Supervise students in creating garments and projects for school events or exhibitions. Collaboration and Coordination : Work closely with other faculty members to integrate cross-disciplinary approaches. Coordinate with industry professionals to arrange guest lectures, internships, and field visits. Assessment and Feedback : Evaluate student progress through assignments, projects, and exams. Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their skills. Event Management : Plan and oversee fashion shows, exhibitions, and other creative events within the school. Promote teamwork and leadership among students through group activities. Qualifications : Masters degree in Fashion Design or a related field. Proven teaching experience in fashion design, preferably in a boarding school environment. Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in design and creativity. Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and fashion CAD. Skills : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students. Expertise in textile knowledge, pattern making, and sewing techniques. Strong organizational and event management skills. Additional Responsibilities : Act as a mentor and role model for students in a boarding school setting. Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
