PGT Legal Studies Teacher

Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Legal Studies to teach students of Grades 11 and 12 (CBSE curriculum). The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage and mentor students effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Legal Studies lessons as per CBSE curriculum for Grades 11 & 12.
• Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments to evaluate student progress.
• Encourage analytical thinking, case study discussions, and application-based learning.
• Guide students in understanding legal concepts, rights, duties, and contemporary legal issues.
• Prepare students for CBSE board examinations with focused exam-oriented teaching.
• Organize enrichment activities such as debates, mock trials, and legal awareness sessions.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school management for academic planning and student progress discussions.
• Maintain student records, attendance, and performance reports.
• Participate in professional development programs and contribute to the school’s academic initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M) or Legal Studies from a recognized university.
• B.Ed. (preferred) with specialization in Legal Studies or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in Legal Studies at senior secondary level (CBSE preferred).
• Strong command over English (written & spoken).
• Proficient in using digital tools and online teaching platforms.
• Excellent classroom management, communication, and mentoring skills.

Compensation

• As per school norms and candidate’s experience.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
