Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced PGT English Teacher to join our senior secondary school faculty. The ideal candidate should be able to deliver engaging and effective English lessons for Grades 11 and 12, fostering a love for literature and language while preparing students for board examinations and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver well-structured English lessons aligned with the CBSE/ICSE/State Board curriculum.
• Prepare students for board exams with appropriate study materials and mock tests.
• Encourage critical thinking, creative writing, and in-depth literary analysis.
• Maintain student discipline and classroom decorum.
• Evaluate and provide constructive feedback on student performance.
• Organize literary activities, debates, and co-curricular engagements.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events.
• Stay updated with changes in curriculum and teaching methodologies.

Requirements:

• Postgraduate degree (M.A.) in English Literature or related field.
• B.Ed. (mandatory as per CBSE norms).
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level.
• Excellent command of English language—spoken and written.
• Strong interpersonal and classroom management skills.
• Proficiency in using smart boards, educational technology, and digital teaching tools.

Desirable Qualities:

• Experience with CBSE curriculum.
• Passion for literature, drama, or creative writing.
• Leadership in academic or literary clubs is an added advantage.
