Responsibilities: We are looking for a Static Equipment Engineer who will be responsible in particular for: Receiving and analyzing contractual documentation within their area of expertise (specifications, datasheets, technical attachments), highlighting any anomalies and critical issues. Ensuring the implementation, within the scope of their activities, of the reference standards/specifications relating to Static Equipment (EN 13445, ASME DIV.VIII, SPEC. IOGP, etc.), identifying the applicable regulatory requirements. Acting as project specialist leader for assigned projects. Define and plan the methods for developing the engineering discipline, in particular defining the list of engineering documents and defining the preliminary program of activities. Execute or supervise the overall process of defining specifications for pressure vessels, starting from the preparation of Material Requisitions with the issuance of mechanical datasheets following design (FEED). Technical evaluation of bids (preparation of technical tabulations). Supplier follow-up (post-order): review of supplier technical documentation. Provide timely updates to PEM and PE project managers regarding any deviations and variations. Participate in project coordination and verification activities. Collaborate with the purchasing department on requests for quotations and with the sales department during the tendering process, participating in meetings with suppliers and subcontractors as necessary. Material handling within the scope of the discipline. Familiarity with technical English is essential. Requirements Work experience in the layout of plants and pressure vessels for the O&G industry. In-depth knowledge of international design codes (ASME, API, TEMA, WRC, etc.) Familiarity with codes, standards, and recommended practices for static equipment Ability to outline design packages Familiarity with follow-up phases, even if from vendors Degree in engineering, preferably mechanical Knowledge of at least one of the PV Elite or Compress programs Knowledge of Autopipe Vessel (optional) Familiarity with 2D CAD software (3D optional) Experience in designing pressure vessels. The candidate must be able to independently prepare drawings such as General Assembly drawings; the ability to prepare details is a plus. Ability to read documents such as P&I, PFD, and calculation reports. Familiarity with project documentation in all its phases (ITP, Procedures, VDL, DSH, etc.) At least 3 years' experience in the role gained at EPC and/or engineering companies operating in the Oil & Gas and Power sector or as a Project Engineer at companies designing and constructing process and power generation equipment.
