Job Description

Performance Tester

Roles & Responsibilities:

Take ownership of performance testing activities for assigned
Oracle EBS modules
, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
Design and execute robust performance test scripts and scenarios based on business requirements and expected user loads.
Utilize industry-standard performance testing tools (e.g.,
LoadRunner, JMeter, NeoLoad
) and apply various performance testing techniques (e.g., load testing, stress testing, scalability testing).
Analyze test results and identify the root causes of performance issues within applications, databases, and infrastructure.
Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to propose and implement performance tuning recommendations.
Manage your own workload, prioritize tasks, and provide regular updates on testing progress and findings to project stakeholders.
Actively contribute to
Agile ceremonies
, including daily stand-ups and sprint planning.
Participate in test case management, defect tracking, and project progress reporting using tools like
JIRA
or Azure DevOps.

Skills Required:

Proven expertise in utilizing industry-standard
performance testing tools
and applying a variety of performance testing techniques.
Hands-on experience in planning, scripting, executing, and analyzing performance tests specifically for
Oracle EBS modules
.
Strong understanding of end-to-end performance test planning, scripting, execution, and analysis.
Ability to identify performance bottlenecks and propose effective solutions.
Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
Experience working in
Agile methodologies
.
Familiarity with
JIRA
or other test/project management tools.

QUALIFICATION:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
