Your role and responsibilities As a Software Development Manager, you'll manage software development, enhance product experiences, and scale our team's capabilities. You'll manage careers, streamline hiring, collaborate with product, and drive innovation. Mastery of frameworks, deployment tech, and cloud APIs is essential as well as adaptability to innovative technologies. Your primary responsibilities include: Solution Development:Lead the development of innovative solutions to enhance our product and development experience, effectively contributing to making our software better. Team Growth and Management:Manage the career growth of team members, scale hiring and development processes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team. Strategic Partnership:Partner with product teams to brainstorm ideas and collaborate on delivering an exceptional product, contributing to the overall success of the organization. Technical Direction:Provide technical guidance by actively participating in architectural discussions, developing code, and advocating for new process improvements to drive innovation and efficiency. Required technical and professional expertise Minimum 13+ years of experiencein performance engineering, product development, and managing team. Expertise inpublic and private cloud infrastructure(AWS, Azure, OpenStack, OCI). Experience withCloud Orchestration Platforms(Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, Tanzu). Deep understanding ofIaC toolslikeTerraform, Ansible. Exposure toobservability frameworks/tools(ELK Stack, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk). Experience inperformance testing toolslikeJMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, k6, or similar. Expertise inmonitoring and analysis toolslikeGrafana, Prometheus, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, New Relic, Splunk, or Datadog. Strong knowledge ofdistributed systems,cloud reference architectures, andvarious deployment patterns(network, compute, storage). Knowledge ofKafka, Redis, Elasticsearch, and other high-performance technologies. Hands-on experience withCore Cloud Services, microservices, containerization, andmulti-region cloud solutions. Proficiency inDevOps tools(Jenkins, GitHub, Ansible, Puppet, Chef). Knowledge ofNoSQL databases(Cassandra, MongoDB, Amazon DynamoDB, CouchDB, Redis). Experience withcloud messaging/streaming brokerslikeKafka, RabbitMQ. StrongLinux system administrationand ability toanalyze workloads, debug, and tune performanceat the system level. Preferred technical and professional experience Develop and implement strategies to optimizesystem performance, ensuringscalability and reliability. Work closely withmanagement, product owners, developers, and quality engineersto understandproduct requirementsand business use cases. Design and executeperformance, scalability, stress, reliability, availability, and longevitysimulations forSaaS and On-prem products.
