On a day-to-day basis, your tasks will include bookkeeping, reconciling accounts, preparing tax returns, and supporting budgeting and financial forecasting processes. It will also be part of your role to ensure compliance with financial regulations and collaborate with other departments to enhance financial practices. To excel in this role, you should possess strong skills in Financial Management, Accounting Principles, and GST bookkeeping. Additionally, experience in auditing, tax preparation, and financial reporting will be beneficial. Proficiency in using accounting software and tools, along with analytical skills and attention to detail in financial data analysis, are essential. Excellent organizational and time management skills are required to effectively carry out your responsibilities. You should be able to work collaboratively within a team and across different departments. Ideally, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification would be a valuable asset. Any prior experience in the textile or retail industry would also be advantageous for this role.,
