As part of our innovation-driven journey, we’re looking for a Packaging Design Executive who can think beyond aesthetics and create smart, food-safe packaging solutions that blend design, utility, and cost-effectiveness. 🎯 Key Responsibilities Analyse food menus and identify suitable packaging formats (based on food type, temperature, and delivery mode) Design box structures with accurate dimensions for food quantity & serving Create structural and visual packaging mockups (both 2D & 3D) Collaborate with chefs, product teams, and vendors for sample development Finalise materials (paper type, GSM, coating) and ensure cost optimisation Prepare pricing and costing sheets for different quantities Maintain vendor coordination for die making, prototyping, and final production Ensure packaging meets food safety, microwaveability, and delivery durability standards 📘 Qualifications Bachelor's/Diploma in Packaging Technology, Product/Industrial Design, Printing Technology, or related field 2+ years of experience in food packaging design, preferably in QSR, FMCG, or sustainable packaging firms 🧠 Key Skills Required Strong understanding of box structures, corrugated design, and food packaging needs Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and CAD tools like ArtiosCAD or AutoCAD Good knowledge of food-grade papers, GSM, coatings, and materials Cost estimation and basic pricing models Vendor coordination and project management Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail ⭐ Bonus Points for Candidates With Experience in biodegradable/eco-friendly food packaging Understanding of FSSAI/FDA packaging norms Knowledge of delivery packaging durability (Zomato, Swiggy, QSR formats) 💼 Why Join Us? As an intern for Field Sales & Marketing-HoReCa Packaging at Pepcom India, situated in Madhyamgram, you will have the opportunity to engage in various responsibilities.
