Location: Kolkata (Work from Office) Experience: 5+ Years We are expanding our technology team and looking for a Senior Developer who will play a crucial role in building and enhancing scalable applications while guiding and mentoring a team of developers. Key Responsibilities: Lead backend and frontend development efforts, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code. Design and develop backend services using Python frameworks (Django / Flask / FastAPI). Build and optimize front-end applications using React.js or Angular. Architect and implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with frontend applications. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance across the stack. Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to the development team. Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, and data scientists to deliver features end-to-end. Ensure adherence to coding standards, version control practices, and deployment best practices. Take ownership of modules, drive innovation, and contribute to architectural decisions. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. 5+ years of hands-on development experience in full-stack development. Strong expertise in Python and frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI. Proven experience in React.js or Angular (React preferred). Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and database systems (SQL/NoSQL). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus. Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills. Prior experience in leading a small to mid-sized development team and assisting members in solving technical challenges. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in cross-functional teams. Nice to have: Experience leading teams to deliver complex projects built using modern frameworks. Experience interacting with clients and be able to provide prompt solution to resolve complex issues.
