Pension Actuaries

We are hiring experienced pension actuarial professionals to support valuation, compliance, and regulatory reporting work for leading benefits advisory projects. This role is ideal for actuaries skilled in defined benefit plans, funding rules, and pension software tools.

What You'll Do

• Conduct annual funding valuations under IRC 430
• Complete ASC 715 accounting valuations
• Perform benefit calculations and prepare participant statements
• Execute nondiscrimination testing (401(a)(4), 410(b), ADP/ACP, top-heavy)
• Calculate PBGC premiums and prepare required regulatory filings
• Analyze census and asset data for completeness and accuracy
• Document assumptions, validations, and compliance steps

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in DB pension valuations and compliance
• Hands-on experience with ProVal, SLOPE, PensionSoft, or similar tools
• Strong understanding of IRS, ERISA, and PBGC requirements
• Familiarity with ASC 715 and financial disclosure processes
• Excellent attention to detail and comfort working with large datasets
• ASA/FSA preferred but not required

Compensation

• $60100 per hour
