Job Description

Perform thorough clinical evaluations of pediatric patients presenting with cardiac symptoms or abnormalities.
Interpret diagnostic tests including echocardiograms, electrocardiograms, and cardiac catheterizations to formulate accurate diagnoses.
Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific condition, considering factors such as age, severity of illness, and patient/family preferences.
Perform interventional procedures such as catheterizations, balloon angioplasty, and device implantations as needed.
Collaborate closely with pediatric cardiac surgeons, intensivists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior medical staff, including residents, fellows, and nurses.
Participate in teaching activities, including lectures, case discussions, and hands-on training sessions for medical students and residents.
Contribute to clinical research initiatives within the pediatric cardiology department, including study design, data collection, and publication of results in peer-reviewed journals.
Stay updated on advancements in the field of pediatric cardiology by attending conferences, workshops, and continuing medical education activities.
Uphold high standards of patient safety, quality of care, and ethical conduct in all professional activities.
