Job Title: Production Planning & Testing Engineer Location: Bhiwandi, Thane Industry: Manufacturing / Engineering Experience Required: Minimum 3 years No. of Openings: 01 Salary: Commensurate with experience Job Description: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Production Planning & Testing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing the production process while ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines. Key Responsibilities: •Develop and implement detailed production schedules based on material availability, equipment capacity, and workforce allocation. •Monitor and manage workflows for one or more product lines, ensuring efficiency and timely delivery. •Identify bottlenecks, propose corrective actions, and ensure seamless production flow. •Track production progress against schedules and ensure projects remain within budget. •Monitor stock levels, anticipate shortages, and take preventive action to avoid production delays. •Ensure that all final products meet the required quality and customer specifications. •Continuously identify and implement process improvements for better productivity and cost-efficiency. •Utilize ERP systems effectively for production planning, tracking, and reporting. •Prepare and review various production reports including MO Review Reports, MRP Reports, WIP, and Shop Floor Schedules. •Prepare the necessary part drawings in AutoCAD for the shop floor executive. •Manage the Minimum Stock Alert Process for inventory optimization. •Collaborate with Design and Sales teams for technical support and alignment on production requirements. •Coordinate with the Stores and Purchase teams to maintain stock levels and ensure minimum order quantities of materials are met •Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth inter-departmental operations. •Handle client inspections and prepare Inspection Witness Reports as per project and client requirements. •Generate and maintain detailed test and inspection reports for compliance and traceability. •Stay current with industry trends, production technologies, and best practices. Desired Candidate Profile: •Proven experience in production planning and quality control in a manufacturing or engineering environment. •Strong knowledge of production processes and scheduling. • Proficient in Autocad, MS Excel and ERP systems. • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
