PCB & Firmware Designer Intern

Innow8 is seeking a passionate and driven PCB and Firmware Designer Intern to join our dynamic hardware innovation team. This is a hands-on internship opportunity to work on cutting-edge STEM DIY hardware kits, with a focus on PCB designing, embedded firmware development, sensor integration, and IoT-based systems.

This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about electronics, PCB design, embedded systems, and bringing innovation to education through STEM learning.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test PCBs for innovative STEM and IoT projects.
• Create and optimize schematic diagrams and PCB layouts using tools like KiCad or Eagle.
• Program and debug microcontroller-based systems (Arduino, ESP32, etc.).
• Integrate various sensors and hardware components for real-world applications.
• Collaborate with the team to develop engaging STEM learning kits and tutorials.
• Assist in hardware debugging, circuit testing, and documentation of projects.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to enhance product innovation.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in PCB design tools (KiCad, Eagle, or similar).
• Strong understanding of microcontrollers (Arduino, ESP32, etc.).
• Familiarity with communication protocols: I2C, UART, SPI.
• Experience with embedded C/C++ programming.
• Understanding of circuit design, sensor integration, and basic hardware testing.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and debugging abilities.
• Passion for STEM education, innovation, and DIY learning.

Eligibility

• Final-year undergraduate students (preferably 8th semester) in Electronics, ECE, Electrical, Mechatronics or related disciplines.

• Enthusiastic learners with a strong desire to build real-world hardware solutions.

• Prior project experience in embedded systems or PCB design is a plus.

Stipend: ₹5000 – ₹8000 per month
