PCB Designer

We are seeking a skilled PCB (Printed Circuit Board) Designer to join our engineering team. The PCB Designer will be responsible for creating, modifying, and optimizing PCB layouts for electronic products. The role involves working closely with hardware engineers, mechanical engineers, and manufacturing teams to ensure PCB designs meet functional, electrical, thermal, and manufacturability requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop PCB layouts based on circuit schematics and engineering requirements.
• Collaborate with hardware design engineers to translate schematics into manufacturable PCB layouts.
• Create multilayer PCB designs, including high-speed, RF, analogue, and mixed-signal boards.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (IPC, RoHS, EMI/EMC).
• Perform Design Rule Checks (DRC) and Electrical Rule Checks (ERC).
• Generate fabrication and assembly drawings, Gerber files, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Optimize PCB layouts for signal integrity, power distribution, thermal management, and manufacturability.
• Work with vendors and manufacturing partners to resolve design and production issues.
• Maintain version control and documentation for PCB design projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a PCB Designer or similar role.
• Proficiency in PCB design software (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, Cadence Allegro, KiCAD, Eagle).
• Knowledge of PCB stack-up design, high-speed routing, and signal integrity.
• Familiarity with DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFA (Design for Assembly) practices.
• Strong understanding of electronic components and circuit schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.
