Job Description: Vendor Development & Purchase Executive Job Title : VD & Purchase Executive Location : Vadodara Reports To : Director Employment Type : Full-Time Vendor Development & Purchase Executive will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and managing vendors to ensure the timely availability of quality materials and services at competitive prices. The role involves negotiating contracts, maintaining vendor relationships, and coordinating with internal departments to meet the organization's procurement needs efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Vendor Development: Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors/suppliers for raw materials, components, or services. Conduct market research to discover reliable and cost-effective suppliers. Assess vendor capabilities, quality standards, and reliability through site visits, audits, or sample evaluations. Procurement Management: Prepare and process purchase orders based on organizational requirements. Do ZBC, negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost savings without compromising quality. Ensure timely delivery of goods and services by coordinating with vendors. Vendor Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors to ensure consistent supply and quality. Resolve issues related to delayed deliveries, defective materials, or pricing disputes. Monitor vendor performance and maintain vendor scorecards for quality, reliability, and pricing. Inventory Coordination: Collaborate with the inventory/store team to monitor stock levels and avoid shortages or overstocking. Ensure proper documentation of purchase orders, invoices, and delivery receipts. Cost Optimization: Analyse market trends and supplier pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities. Implement strategies to reduce procurement costs while maintaining quality standards. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all procurement activities comply with organizational policies and legal regulations. Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and vendor agreements. Verify invoices and coordinate with the accounts team for timely payments to vendors. Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with production, quality control, and finance teams to align procurement with organizational goals. Provide inputs for budgeting and forecasting material requirements. Qualifications and Skills: Education: Diploma / Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical or a related field. Experience: 3-8 years of experience in procurement, vendor management, or supply chain roles.

Job Description: Business Development Team Lead - Power Cable Accessories Job Title : Business Development Team Lead Location : Delhi / Vadodara Reports To : Director Employment Type : Full-Time The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, expanding market share, and building strong client relationships in the power cable accessories sector across South India. The role involves strategic planning, client engagement, and collaboration with internal teams to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth. The BDM will act as the first point of contact for clients, respond to RFPs, and develop tailored solutions to meet customer needs in the energy and infrastructure sectors. Key Responsibilities Market Expansion : Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase market share for power cable accessories in PAN India, targeting utilities, Renewables, EPC contractors, and industrial clients. Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, dealers, and end-users, to ensure long-term partnerships and repeat business. Team Management : Guide junior team members in the respective region and monitor progress of leads and improve conversions. Sales Strategy Development : Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy for the assigned region, including market research, competitor analysis, and identification of growth opportunities. Lead Generation and Conversion : Generate leads through industry events, networking, and cold outreach, and convert opportunities into projects by pitching tailored solutions. Tender and RFP Management : Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and tenders from government and private organizations, ensuring compliance with technical and commercial requirements. Qualifications and Skills: Educational Background : Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development is preferred but not mandatory. Experience : 5-15 years of experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales or business development, preferably in the electrical, power distribution, or cable accessories industry. Technical Knowledge : Strong understanding of power cable accessories, power transmission, and distribution systems. Familiarity with products such as cable joints, terminations, and connectors is highly desirable. Skills : Proven track record in driving sales and meeting or exceeding targets. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to engage with senior stakeholders and decision-makers. Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office for managing client relationships and reporting. Ability to conduct market research and analyse data to identify opportunities and trends. Strong networking skills to build relationships with industry stakeholders, including utilities, EPC contractors, and distributors. Languages : Fluency in English and Hindi is mandatory. Travel : Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 15-20 days per month) across India for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
