Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage large-scale Kubernetes clusters across hybrid and multi-cloud environments (on-prem, GCP, and Anthos). Drive deployment, scaling, monitoring, and maintenance of containerized workloads with enterprise-grade reliability and security. Architect and optimize CI/CD pipelines for multi-cluster, multi-environment deployments. Implement and enforce Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices (Terraform, Helm, GitOps) for consistency and scalability. Integrate Anthos into existing infrastructure, enabling seamless workload migration, hybrid-cloud governance, and centralized policy management. Collaborate with Security and Networking teams to ensure compliance, observability, and secure service mesh deployment (Anthos Service Mesh/Istio). Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues spanning on-premises and cloud environments. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to DevOps best practices and standards across the organization. Required Skills & Experience 3+ years of hands-on DevOps/Infrastructure engineering experience, with at least 3+ years working on Kubernetes in production. Deep knowledge of Kubernetes Cluster Manager operations: provisioning, scaling, upgrades, and high-availability design. Strong expertise in Google Anthos: hybrid cloud management, multi-cluster governance, workload migration, and Anthos Config Management. Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Helm, Ansible, or similar). Experience with service meshes (Istio, Anthos Service Mesh) and container networking/security. Strong background in cloud-native monitoring & observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Cloud Operations). Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Tekton). Solid understanding of cloud providers (GCP preferred; AWS/Azure a plus). Familiarity with SRE principles, SLIs/SLOs/SLAs, and cost optimization strategies in hybrid environments. Strong scripting skills (Python, Go, or Bash). Nice-to-Have Certification in CKA/CKAD, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, or Anthos Certified Administrator. Exposure to policy management with Anthos Config Management (ACM) and Open Policy Agent (OPA). Experience with hybrid/multi-cloud networking and zero-trust security models.
