Pattern Maker( Garments Unit)

Responsibilities of a Pattern Maker: Understanding design concepts, sketches, and specifications provided by designers. Creating accurate patterns for various garment parts, ensuring proper fit and construction. Considering fabric properties and suggesting appropriate materials for the design. Collaborating with sample makers to create prototypes and refine patterns based on fit and aesthetic evaluations. Adjusting patterns to create different sizes within a range, ensuring consistent fit across sizes. Working closely with designers, production teams, and sample makers to ensure dentifying and resolving issues related to fit, construction, or pattern accuracy. Keeping abreast of new technologies, trends, and best practices in pattern making. Training and guiding junior pattern makers.
