Senior Staff Nurse NATURE OF WORK The Senior staff nurse identifies and treats health issues among students and staff members and provides instruction in the maintenance of good health and disease prevention. The work of staff nurse is performed under the general supervision of the Resident Medical Officer. Candidate should have an experience with residential school. Experience: 5 to 10 years Work Responsibilities a) To be a part of the health team to give 24 hrs health care to all incumbents under the direct supervision of the Resident Medical Officer. b) Conduct regular health checks and maintain student health records. c) Act as a resource person in promoting health care. d) Maintain, evaluate and assist in interpreting cumulative health data to accommodate individual needs of students in consultation with the RMO. e) Provide health information to assist students and families in making health related decision. f) Maintain security of school health supplies. g) Correspond with parents on health needs of children after consulting the school doctor or appropriate authority h) Prepare and maintain a daily roster to assign duties to infirmary staff members.
