Parts Information Graphics Specialist

As a Parts Information Graphics Specialist at Caterpillar Inc. in the TIS department, your main responsibility is creating and optimizing high-quality 3D models for dealer-facing applications used by service personnel in the field. You will be involved in building complete product model files, identifying and reusing components, and evaluating new graphics technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Create and optimize lightweight high-quality 3D models meeting production targets - Access CAD files and build complete product model files covering various systems - Identify and reuse "like or similar" components for maximum productivity - Evaluate new graphics technologies and define requirements for new tools and processes Qualifications Required: - Demonstrated knowledge of Caterpillar product structure, engineering databases, and modeling & rendering tools - Effective communication skills, ability to deliver feedback, and lead meetings effectively - Collaboration and engagement with peers and stakeholders - Customer focus and ability to align customer needs in creating customized solutions Caterpillar Inc. is a global leader in manufacturing construction and mining equipment, engines, gas turbines, and locomotives.
