The Mechanical Service Engineer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment. The role requires both technical and customer service skills to ensure optimal performance and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on mechanical systems (e.g., HVAC, engines, compressors, pumps, turbines). Install and commission mechanical equipment at customer sites or facilities. Identify and resolve mechanical faults or failures efficiently and effectively. Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding equipment usage, best practices, and troubleshooting. Maintain accurate records of service reports, parts used, and time spent on each job. Collaborate with engineering teams to improve product reliability and address recurring issues. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures during all service activities. Train customers or junior technicians on proper equipment operation and maintenance. Travel to client locations (local or international, as required) for service calls and scheduled maintenance.

Machine design and Droughting, Make BOM of assemblies, Give proper geometrical dimensions and tolerances. Must have AutoCAD 2D knowledge.

Conduct regular inspections on raw materials, in-process items, and finished products. Use tools like calipers, Vernier, micrometers, gauges, or software testing tools (in tech industries) to check for defects. Ensure compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and regulatory norms. Prepare and maintain inspection reports, test data, and quality records. Document non-conformances and coordinate with relevant departments for corrective actions. Assist in creating quality assurance manuals and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Supervise the machine assembly process, delegate work to the fitters and workers, understand the assembly drawing, and resolve any issues that arise during the assembly. Take necessary follow-ups with the concerned departments related to assembly shortage items. Meet production targets as per the company planning.
