Part-Time Research Assistant

Role Overview: You will be working as a part-time Research Assistant at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, in the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology under the supervision of Prof. (Dr.) Ashish Kumar. Your role will involve hands-on research tasks related to ongoing retrospective and ambispective studies. Key Responsibilities: - Be present in the hospital for 4 hours daily - Extract data from medical records and case files - Interact with patients for data clarification when necessary - Complete structured proformas/CRFs - Conduct literature searches using platforms like PubMed and Google Scholar - Assist with basic statistical analysis using Excel/SPSS - Support in manuscript preparation including tables, graphs, and references Qualification Required: - MBBS degree with completed internship - Must be based in Delhi NCR or able to commute daily to the hospital - Not preparing for major entrance exams like NEET PG/USMLE in the next 3 months - Prior research or publication experience is desirable but not mandatory - Familiarity with literature review tools and basic statistics is preferred - Should be sincere, punctual, and eager to learn Additional Details: You will gain valuable hands-on clinical research experience, have the opportunity for co-authorship in 12 publications based on your contribution, receive a Letter of Recommendation from Prof. (Dr.) Ashish Kumar for high-performing candidates, and obtain a Certificate of Completion at the end of your tenure.
