Job Title Health & Safety Officer Department Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Grade Executive Location Andheri Seepz + Digha Experience Min. 2 to 4 years experience in electronics or component manufacturing unit Qualification Degree/Diploma in Engineering + Industrial Safety Certification (Govt. Recognized) Salary 3-4 LPA Age 25-30 Key Responsibilities: Legal & Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to Factories Act, Environment Protection Act, Fire & Electrical Safety Rules, E-Waste & Hazardous Waste Rules. Coordinate with government bodies for inspections, certifications, and renewals. ISO & IMS Systems: Maintain safety records and procedures as person Occupational Health & Safety Environmental Management Quality (related to safety & process control) Support IMS audits and ensure closure of non-conformities. Workplace Safety : Conduct HIRA (Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment) and EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment). Implement ESD-safe practices, machine guarding, and LOTO procedures. Ensure proper PPE usage, safety signages, ergonomic workstations, and ventilation systems. Emergency Preparedness: Conduct fire drills, emergency response mock drills, and evacuation training. Ensure all fire extinguishers (CO, ABC), hydrants, alarms are functional and up to date. Training & Awareness: Deliver EHS induction and refresher training for employees and contract workers. Conduct regular toolbox talks and job-specific safety sessions. Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe acts.
