Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions. Responsibilities include reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining the general ledger, preparing month-end close procedures, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes. General Ledger Management: Oversee and manage the general ledger and sub-ledger activities. Perform regular reconciliations of balance sheet accounts. Maintain and update accounting records and files. GST computation PF, ESIC, PT, TDS computations Stock statement procedures Credit / Debit Notes Preparation of P and L accounts, Balance sheets Audit and Compliance: Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. Implement and monitor internal controls. Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions. Review and approve invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders. Manage and reconcile inter-company transactions. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget. Conduct financial analysis and provide variance explanations. Support strategic planning and decision-making processes. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Qualifications: Education and Certification: BCom or MCom Experience: Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior accounting role. Candidate Preference: Candidate to be located within 5 to 8km radius from Peenya (Jalahalli, T Dasarahalli, Andrahalli, Laggere, Rajagopala Nagar) . Should possess excellent communication skills in English and Kannada (reading and writing) Should be familiar with Emails, MS excel and MS word
Key Responsibilities: Marketplace Management (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.): Manage and update product listings with accurate titles, descriptions, images, keywords, and attributes. Optimize SEO content for product visibility on marketplaces. Coordinate inventory planning, pricing, and dispatch in line with promotional campaigns. Monitor Buy Box, product ranking, ratings/reviews, and competitor pricing. Run and monitor Amazon/Flipkart Ads (PPC) and evaluate performance metrics. Handle returns, complaints, seller support tickets, and other operational issues. D2C Website (Shopify): Manage and update the company’s e-commerce website, product pages, banners, and content. Coordinate with digital team for promotions, campaigns, and seasonal offers. Track user behaviour via Google Analytics, etc. for insights and optimization. Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure smooth order fulfilment. Campaigns & Promotions: Plan, implement, and monitor festive or monthly sales campaigns. Coordinate with designers to create banner ads, social posts, and newsletters. Assist in executing promotional activities (Coupons, Deals of the Day, Sponsored Ads). Inventory & Coordination: Coordinate with warehouse, operations, and logistics teams to ensure stock availability and order accuracy. Reconcile monthly returns, damages, and payments with finance team.
