General Manager – Finance & Accounts is responsible for leading the company’s financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, taxation, cash flow management, and internal controls. The role requires a strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to translate financial insights into business outcomes while ensuring the integrity and efficiency of the finance and accounting function. Job Title: General Manager – Finance & Accounts Department: Finance & Accounts Location: [Kolkata-HQs] Reports To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / Managing Director Experience: 12–18 years, with at least 4–6 years in a senior finance leadership role Education Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) / CMA / MBA in Finance Employment Type: Full-Time / Permanent Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial Reporting & Accounting Oversee accurate and timely preparation of financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annually). Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS / GAAP). Manage consolidation of group entities (if applicable). Supervise general ledger, trial balance, reconciliations, and book closures. 2. Budgeting, Forecasting & MIS Lead the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget.
