Role Summary We are seeking an experienced English Language Development Teacher to teach students from primary to middle school. The role focuses on developing reading fluency, writing clarity, grammar mastery, and comprehension skills through creative lesson planning and consistent evaluation. Location Onsite HSR Layout, Bengaluru Outcomes (What Success Looks Like) 1 Deliver structured English lessons covering reading, writing, grammar, and comprehension. 2 Create lesson plans tailored to varying skill levels within the class. 3 Assess and track student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback. 4 Demonstrate measurable improvement in students language proficiency within the academic year. Technical Competencies 1 Fluency in English (spoken and written). 2 Strong knowledge of English grammar, literature, and age-appropriate books. 3 Experience in lesson planning and creating teaching resources. 4 Skills in evaluating reading and writing proficiency. Behavioural Competencies 1 Clear and engaging communicator. 2 Ability to motivate and involve students in reading and writing activities. 3 Adaptability to different student learning speeds. 4 Strong organization and time management skills. Responsibilities Teaching & Learning Deliver Montessori lessons and spoken English sessions as per school curriculum. Adapt teaching strategies to suit individual learning needs and styles. Prepare and maintain Montessori materials and activity plans. Child Development & Care Ensure emotional well-being, safety, and comfort of each child. Observe, document, and share progress reports with parents. Collaboration & Communication Work closely with colleagues to align on curriculum delivery. Maintain regular, positive communication with parents. Qualifications and Experience Education: Diploma/Certification in Montessori Education or Early Childhood Education preferred. Experience: 13 years teaching pre-school or early elementary students. Fresh candidates may also apply Language: Fluent in English (spoken and written); knowledge of local language is a plus. Work Environment / Setup Onsite, classroom-based role. 5 days a week, as per school schedule. Salary As per capability and experience.
