  • Proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and manage clinical operations.
    Desirable:
  • MD/DNB in Palliative Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, or Anaesthesia.
  • Exposure to capacity building, community outreach, or training programs in palliative care will be an added advantage.
    Responsibilities as a Team Member:

  • Support families and caregivers through counselling and decision-making in complex care situations.
  • Facilitate case reviews, family meetings, and team discussions to ensure continuity and quality of care.
    Administrative Duties:

  • Support training sessions and skill-building programs for clinical and support staff.
  • Work closely with the management team on staffing, scheduling, and facility improvements.
Community Engagement and Capacity Building as a Team Member:
  • Engage with local NGOs, healthcare providers, and civil society to raise awareness about palliative care.
  • Support training and sensitisation programs for government healthcare workers and community health volunteers.
  • Advocate for early referral and access to palliative care across the state healthcare network.
    Miscellaneous:
  • Stay abreast of emerging practices and developments in palliative and hospice care through continuous learning and professional development.
  • Uphold the highest standards of ethical, compassionate, and patient-centered care in all clinical and interpersonal interactions.
