Evaluate and diagnose patients with chronic or acute pain conditions
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Perform interventional procedures such as nerve blocks and injections
Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care
Educate patients on pain management techniques and lifestyle changes
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Participate in continuing medical education and training
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
Provide follow-up care and adjust treatments as needed
Providing consultative services on medicine and surgical patients, in both ICU and non-ICU settings
Conducting daily roundsWorking together with an Interdisciplinary Palliative Care team, consisting of a Physician, Social Worker, Chaplain, Hospice and Palliative Medicine FellowProviding comprehensive pain and symptom managementAssisting with clarifying goals of careProviding support to patients and familiesDemonstrate Swedish core values of respect, justice, compassion, stewardship, and excellence to customers, employees, and visitorsPromote spiritual/emotional support among staff and volunteersMake initial spiritual assessmentDetermine and supports spiritual practices in keeping with the patient's and family's religious tradition
Qualification - MBBS, MS/DNB
