Designation - Sr. QA Automation Engineer (On-site) Experience - 5-8 years Location - Vadodara Schedule - Monday to Friday Responsibilities: Lead the QA team in developing and executing automated test scripts for web and mobile applications. Design and implement test plans, test cases, and automation scripts using Selenium, Java, Python, and Appium. Build, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks using industry best practices. Implement and maintain Page Object Model (POM) and Page Factory design patterns. Perform API automation using Rest Assured, and conduct database testing and Excel-based data testing. Integrate and execute automated test suites in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. Work with TestNG and Maven for framework configuration and test execution. Collaborate with development and product teams to understand features and ensure complete test coverage. Generate and share detailed test reports (Allure or any) with stakeholders. Conduct cross-browser testing and execute tests using Selenium Grid and platforms like Selenium Box, BrowserStack, or Sauce Labs. Track testing progress and defects using JIRA and participate actively in Agile ceremonies. Maintain source code using Git and contribute to version-controlled repositories. Apply basic principles of Performance Testing and Cyber Security Quality Engineering when needed. Continuously improve test processes, drive innovation, and deliver high-quality outcomes. Collaborate positively with team members and contribute as a self-driven, independent engineer. Skills and Knowledge Required: 5-8 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on automation. Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Java, Python, and Appium. Expertise in API testing with Rest Assured, database testing, and Excel automation. Solid experience in building automation frameworks using POM and Page Factory. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins. Good working knowledge of TestNG, Maven, and test structure optimization. Proficient with test management tools like JIRA. Hands-on experience with cross-browser testing, Selenium Grid, BrowserStack, Selenium Box, or Sauce Labs. Experience in generating test reports using Allure or similar frameworks. Strong knowledge of Git for version control. Basic understanding of Performance Testing and Cyber Security Quality Engineering. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills, including client-facing interactions. Highly self-motivated with a continuous learning mindset and the ability to work independently.
