Job Summary: The Helper Cook assists the main cook or chef in preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. This role supports daily food preparation and helps maintain hygiene and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Assist the cook/chef in preparing ingredients such as washing, cutting, and chopping vegetables and meats. Help in basic cooking tasks like boiling, frying, grilling, and seasoning under supervision. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas. Ensure proper storage of raw materials and cooked food. Follow hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards at all times. Assist in serving food or packing orders when required. Dispose of kitchen waste and manage cleaning schedules. Receive and organize kitchen supplies and stock. Support other kitchen staff during busy hours or large events.
