Position: Mechanical Design Engineer Experience: 1–2 years Location: Chennai About the Opportunity Owveal Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is recruiting a Mechanical Design Engineer on behalf of one of our prestigious clients for an ongoing product design and development project . The selected candidate will work on concept design, reverse engineering, and manufacturing documentation within a fast-paced industrial environment. Key Responsibilities: Create 3D models and detailed 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks . Assist in concept development, design improvements, and reverse engineering . Prepare and manage BOMs, drawing revisions, and design documentation . Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability . Support project delivery within defined timelines and quality standards. Required Skills: Proficiency in SolidWorks (Part, Assembly, Drawing, Surface, and Sheet Metal modules). Sound understanding of GD&T and standard drafting practices. Knowledge of reverse engineering tools (3D scanning, mesh-to-CAD) will be an added advantage. Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
