Job Title: MES Engineer Department: SMT (Surface Mount Technology) Location: SECTOR -57,NOIDA Reports To: SMT Manager Employment Type: Full-Time Salary-Best In Indusrty Vacancy-1 Job Summary: The MES (Manufacturing Execution System) Engineer in the SMT department is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of the MES systems used in the Surface Mount Technology production lines. The role ensures seamless integration between production equipment, enterprise systems (like ERP), and real-time production monitoring for optimized manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities: · Manage and support MES applications specific to SMT production processes. · Integrate MES with SMT equipment (e.g., pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, SPI/AOI systems). · Configure and maintain production data tracking systems and dashboards. · Monitor MES performance and resolve system issues in real time. · Coordinate with IT and production teams to deploy MES system upgrades and patches. · Ensure MES systems comply with quality, traceability, and regulatory standards. · Develop and maintain documentation including SOPs, system configurations, and training materials. · Provide training and technical support to production staff on MES usage. · Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support automation projects. Qualifications and Skills: Education: · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Experience: 2–5 years of experience in MES engineering, ideally within an electronics manufacturing/SMT environment. Technical Skills: · Experience with MES platforms (e.g., Camstar, iTAC, Aegis FactoryLogix, Siemens Opcenter). · Knowledge of SMT production equipment and processes. · Understanding of SQL databases and data integration. · Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus. · Basic scripting or programming knowledge (e.g., Python, C#, JavaScript) is an advantage. Soft Skills: · Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. · Ability to work cross-functionally with production, quality, and IT teams. · Good communication skills and ability to document technical issues clearly. · Self-motivated and capable of working independently or in a team.
