The Role Job Summary: Data Center Facilities Operation is responsible for performing day-to-day monitoring and management of all Branch Offices data room facilities operations in the region. Oversees technical support of a complex nature for the firm's facilities environments, hardware and capacity requirements. Good knowledge of DC infrastructure (UPS, PDU, ATS, CRAC, Racks, Panels etc), server, storage and networking hardware such as Dell, HP, Cisco, IBM, APC etc. Functional knowledge of connectivity, redundancy, resiliency and operating systems of devices & appliances and data centre environmental controls. Good Knowledge of Racks, patch panels and other environmental aspects of facilities. Good knowledge of physical security, information security, compliances, standards, assessments and audits Knowledge of tool sets (Service Now, SMS, OVO, Dell ITA, Intelliwatch, MOM, Whats up Gold, DCIM) Ability to document processes and procedures Knowledge of Servers, SAN and Storage environmental needs Strong working knowledge in ITIL Incident Management and Change Management. Strong working knowledge with MS Office tools especially MS Excel. Capable of keeping records, generating reports and analysing data as necessary time to time. Ability to work and team effectively with clients Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills, written communication skills, Coordination capabilities across global teams Supervision Responsibilities: Manage and champion a functional cross-border team with a single, mature culture. What you work Individual Contributor. Responsible for end-to-end development lifecycles of features. Building reusable code and libraries for future use. Optimization of the application for speed and scalability. Managing the team with evaluating processes, priorities and performance goals to meet business objectives Mandatory skills Object Oriented Analysis and Design. Data Structures, Algorithms and their complexity/performance. Design/development/debugging in Java. Middleware like Hibernate, ActiveMQ & Relational DBs like MySQL/Oracle. Familiarity with Software Defined Networking (SDN) concepts, and SDN controllers like ODL or ONOS is desirable. Good to haveNMS/EMS/OSS/BSS domain experience. Desired skills Basic understanding of Frontend & Backend architectures. Basic understanding of Databases and Database queries. Good debugging skills, log analysis and solving Field issues. Good knowledge with Wireless domain is a plus. Preferred Qualifications Experience 10 to 14 years’ experience from Telecommunication or Networking background.
